✔️ Foot health maintenance at every appointment: corn removal, callus debridement, elongated nail reduction, thinning of thickened toenails, ingrown toenail management, diabetic foot health status checks, deformities and circulation & sensation management

✔️ A podiatry care plan for every person, with consideration to their holistic health & wellbeing
✔️ Knowledge shared at each home visit podiatry appointment with a focus on education about how to best look after the feet and prevent future complications

✔️ Fungal toenails diagnostic testing and treatment (additional cost apply)
✔️ Care for patients with dementia, those that are wheelchair-bound, or are affected by a variety of other medical conditions

Aside from all aspects of skin and nail care in older feet from corns and calluses to thickened nails, our podiatrists also perform specialised falls risk assessments and care, testing and treatment for fungal nail infections, and offer the #1 leading painless and non-surgical treatment of ingrown toenails, Onyfix.

Our podiatrists provide exceptional medical foot care, holding either a PhD or first class Honours in podiatry and specialising in older feet. Our services are superior too nurse-based pedicures or beautician services. Seeing us gives your feet the best experience and expertise possible - and the peace of mind that you're in safe hands.

Home Visit Podiatry Cost
Our Initial Home Visit Podiatry appointments cost $95.00 and include all travel costs (within Tauranga), consultation, treatment* and GST per client.
Our Follow Up Home Visit Podiatry appointments cost $85.00 and include all travel costs (within Tauranga), consultation, treatment* and GST per client.
Our services ensure Tauranga residents can access top-quality podiatry care without any barriers caused by transport or mobility issues.
Payment Methods
Contactless EFTPOS payments are available during your visit.
We do not run accounts, and payments are to be made on the day. We do not accept cheques.
Additional Information
*Additional fees apply for extra non-standard services and products, including Onyfix, strip testing for fungal nails, and our foot cream range.

Senior Podiatrist, PhD - BHSc Hons Podiatry.
Our in-home specialist Angela is an NZ-registered podiatrist, senior lecturer and member of Podiatry NZ. Angela’s belief in providing exceptional podiatry service and the highest quality care led her to join Vital Feet Podiatry.
Angela has a specialist interest in the older adult, understanding the impact that foot problems have on a person's quality of life and their ability to stay active and independent. Angela's passion for older feet has seen her become only the second podiatrist in New Zealand to achieve a doctoral degree that looked at the foot and ankle characteristics associated with falls in people with Rheumatoid Arthritis in New Zealand.
Providing expert and professional care in the comfort of your own home, Angela enjoys meeting new people and having a positive impact on their lives.

Every home visit podiatry treatment delivers a full clinical experience as opposed to a limited mobile service, performed using the highest level of safety, sterility & hygiene protocols. We’re first aid trained, highly experienced with older feet & mobile home-based foot care, and hold a very high standard of equipment and products. All our staff are fully vaccinated and always strictly follow all COVID-19 guidelines during you home visit podiatry visit.
